Civil works in Wilton Greens, an idyllic new estate in Sydney’s south west spanning 433 hectares, has recently commenced ahead of 3600 parcels of land being prepared for residential construction.

Spearheaded by residential developer Risland Australia, whose parent company Country Garden develops major urban projects worldwide, Wilton Greens will be one of Sydney’s fastest-growing regions in the coming years.

With an impressive community masterplan in play and the NSW Department of Planning and Environment backing a vision towards 2040, Wilton Greens will accommodate the significant growth anticipated for the south west region.

Keeping up with high demand

Strategically located within reach of Sydney city and just beyond the Southern Highlands, Wilton Greens is in close reach to essential services while set to a backdrop of natural landscapes. With couples and families moving to the outskirts of Sydney suburbia and even regional communities, land in Wilton has been hugely popular.

“There has been huge interest early in the project with over 300 land parcels sold to date. Many purchasers have appreciated the unique position of Wilton Greens which provides the convenience of close proximity to community amenities, jobs and green open spaces,” explains Tim Clarke, Sales Manager at Wilton Greens.

Included in the project plan are two employment hubs, a local neighbourhood centre, seven large parks, several kilometres of cycle paths and 8.5 hectares of open spaces. Accompanied by an impressive Wilton Town Centre, securing house and land has never been more appealing.

Worthington’s plans for Wilton Greens

Potentially, Wilton Greens will be home to over 12,000 residents. In parallel, hundreds of jobs and local businesses have been and will be created throughout the life of the project. With the state and federal governments planning to invest billions of dollars into the region over the next decade, Worthington Homes have a long-term plan for supporting the development.

Managing Director Liam Worthington says, “We are thrilled to be part of the Wilton Greens development. We’re really looking forward to building new homes in such a significant new area of NSW.”

With two display homes planned for construction in the purpose-built display village and ongoing residential building projects in the pipeline, Worthington will be releasing new house designs configured to the estate specifications.

Liam adds, “We have clients coming to us wanting to build their ‘forever’ home in Wilton Greens, so we have ready-made house plans suitable for the estate that can be built in line with local council and building design guidelines. Plus, they’ve been able to lock in 2021 prices for a build that is 18 months out.”

Popular home designs for Wilton Greens land owners so far include the Tempest 20, the Elanora 19 and the Corindi 25. Given that lot size in this estate typically starts at 350 sqm and goes all the way up to 1100 sqm, there is plenty of scope for selecting a great design and building a new home.

“We’re also currently working on a collection of narrow block designs, so we look forward to many productive years ahead of partnership with Wilton Greens,” concludes Liam.
