Continuity in the construction industry is critical for the state economy as well as hundreds of thousands of business owners, contractors, workers and employees relying on its successful running.

As you may already be aware, the Master Builders Association of New South Wales and the Housing Industry Association have been working hard to advocate for those operating in the building sector affected by the COVID-19 lockdown.

We owe the MBA and HIA a great deal of gratitude for their immense efforts in getting construction back up and running.

Construction sites reopened in August, including those in local government areas of concern. Shortly thereafter, all construction workers were deemed ‘authorised’ and could therefore return to site if they met the vaccination requirements.

Thanks to the prompt action of industry bodies, an updated Safety Plan as well as higher rates of vaccination and testing, we have been able to safely resume current building projects with minimal delay.

With the NSW Government and NSW Health now preparing greater Sydney for the easing of restrictions, things are looking promising.

Here at Worthington Homes, we are prioritising the health of staff, contractors and clients through physical distancing, hygiene practices and QR code check-ins.

As we head into the final quarter of 2021, we are confident our COVID-19 Safety Plan will keep everyone safe as we bounce back from this challenging time.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us – we’re still open for business.

Check in is mandatory for contractors, deliveries and site visitors

In line with the NSW Government requirements for a COVID-19 Safety Plan, check in is required at all our locations. This includes construction sites, office areas and display homes.

On all Worthington Homes work sites, you will be required to check in via the VISTrak App, which can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play.

In all instances, check in is mandatory to enter all sites.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation to help us be COVID-19 safe.
