Frequently asked questions
When does the land register?
Registrations for house and land packages in Wilton Greens are due to commence from December 2021 and will roll out 18 months thereafter. Depending on whether your lot is from the first or second stage release will determine when the land is registered.
Can I arrange an inspection of the house and land?
Currently, there is only vacant land where we are building, however, you can take a drive down to Wilton just off Picton Road (south of Pembroke Parade) to see where your new home will be built. It’s highly advisable to go to wiltongreens.com.au for information about the estate and to view the master plan. We encourage you to research Wilton Greens in-depth to get a full understanding of the area as well as future plans for development well into 2040.
Is it a split contract?
The Wilton Greens house and land packages are split contracts, whereby you enter into a contract for the sale of land as well as a contract for the home build. The land contract is paid in full on settlement while the build contract is paid to Worthington in instalments.
When will it be ready to move it?
Completion is dependent on a few factors including council approval, land registration and civil works. Construction will commence from March 2022 with building estimated to be complete by late 2022. We will keep you updated on progress of your build so you’re fully informed throughout the process.
What is the process to buy house and land through Worthington?
Generally, the process is as follows. After a deposit is received for your chosen house and land package, you will have 14 days to exchange contracts. At this point, you will also choose your inclusions package. Once contracts are issued, you will sign and enter into an agreement. Final deposits will be required on both the house and land while documentation will be prepared for land registration, which is estimated to be in end of 2021. After the site inspection and preliminaries, you will go through various consultations for interior/exterior selections, after which, your final approval is given before construction begins.
What are the inclusions?
As we like to say, you wouldn’t buy a new house without wheels, so why build a new home without necessary inclusions such as flooring? When you build with us, your home is built ready to move in so there are no surprises along the way. We are 100% transparent with our inclusions and costs knowing that some mainstream builders are not.
We offer 3 different inclusion packages: Value Plus, Lifestyle and Premium. You can read the list of inclusions on our website, which we advise you to do before talking to us so you’re well informed of what you’re getting.
Can I see the site plan?
Yes, we can supply the site plan for the house and land package we advertise.
Can I see the technical drawings?
Once a deposit is received and contracts are exchanged, we supply full technical drawings of your home including a detailed floor plan and site contours.
Can we modify the home design if needed?
If you wish to modify an existing home design, e.g. making additions or minor modifications, this can sometimes be made, depending on the scope of design and construction required. Ask us what you’re after and we will see what we can do.
Can I choose a different home design for the lot?
In most cases we are able to swap the home design, depending on your requirements regarding size, floor plan and number of bed/bath/car spaces. We will always try to find something to suit your needs. Fitting a home design depends on the lot size, width, council restrictions and any other criteria for the external design, which is defined by the Wilton Greens estate developers.
Do you have any other house and land packages?
Yes, we are always adding new packages when land is released on an ongoing basis. Please register your interest and give us a detailed brief of your requirements such as house size in sqm/sqs, single/double storey, number of bed/bath/car spaces etc.
When can I come in for an appointment?
Our Selection Studio & Showroom is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday by appointment only. Please call the office on 1300 30 11 38 to make an appointment.
